15/04/06 - At least 13 Ring Ouzels on the site today. One group of 7 moved off the
top of the slope into the farmland as another group of 6 flew off towards Warden
Hills
15/04/06 - Perhaps 20 Northern Wheatear though difficult to make reliable counts
with so much movement around the site. One in the Paddocks was taken by a
Sparrowhawk
15/04/06 - Yellow Wagtail over the site and also a Common Raven soaring - the
2nd site record
17/04/06 - 3 Common Redstarts - 1 at the top of the Skimpot Gully, 1 on the
Kingsbury Slope, 1 on the Downside slope - all males

PLEASE IF YOU VISIT THE SITE DO NOT GO INTO THE PADDOCKS EVEN THOUGH MANY OF THE FENCES HAVE BEEN BROKEN DOWN. IT DISTURBS THE BIRDS AND WILL RUIN YOUR CHANCES OF SEEING THEM. THERE ARE PATHS ROUND THE PADDOCKS AND
TWO THAT PASS THROUGH, PLEASE KEEP TO THEM.
